We first discovered these dedicated Artisan cheese makers here in Steveston selling their cheese at the farmers market. Their local artisan cheese farm can be found near Agassiz in the Fraser Valley. Debra Amrein-Boyes makes the cheese from the fresh milk of her Brown Swiss, Guernsey, and Holstein cows. Their quality and constancy has raised the bar for local cheese production and can be found at "les amis du FROMAGE" in Vancouver and at the Steveston Farmers Market throughout the summer months.
